SPECIAL DATA from AMANDA-II TWR 04
Special Data runs were
performed during the summer 03/04:
This data will be uploaded on a disk at UCI. You should contact
Andrea Silvestri
or Jiwoo Nam
if you are interested in this data.
Typically, this data would include N2 laser and flasher data
calibration but none was taken this year.
This data sets are in binary format, so no of this data is in F2K
format. In order to look at the data a raw data reader is needed and
for the TWR04 data set, Wolfgang Wagner will provide a raw data reader,
details of the format and readout configuration.
All these data are uncompressed.
We will enable a UCI local machine for public ftp-server, so to
allow users to download data with higher speed.

TWR04 was triggered by a pulser to generate
random triggers (or, triggers not generated by muons). Run 7784

The FPGA program of the SIS TWR was altered
to perform the feature extraction (in standard TWR04, the feature extraction
is performed by the DSP). This data will be useful for the development

M=18 data (prescaled with 20ms deadtime
to reduce readout speed), the feature extraction was disabled by setting
software threshold to 4095 in DSP. The zero suppression in the SIS TWR

Standard Raw Data [29 GB] Run 7797, Day 40 of 2004 |
M=18 data, standard operation (more or
less, there were brief variations due to Klaus Helbing who had to restart
one of the DOM computers - so 8 OMs on string 18 will be off for a few
hours]. This data was collected on Feb 11 and Feb 12, 2004 local
pole time. You will need the raw data reader for TWR04 by Wolfgang Wagner
